Spiderman 3 - Kirsten Dunst Article

Playing the part of Mary Jane Watson, Kirsten Dunst may seem like an overnight success story, but the young actress has been in the entertainment industry since she was three. While growing up, she appeared in dozens of commercials, landing her first movie role in Woody Allen’s New York Stories. In 1990 Dunst appeared as Tom Hank’s daughter in the comedy The Bonfire of the Vanities. She received her first screen kiss in 1994 from Brad Pitt when she co-starred in Interview With the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles. Her performance as Claudia earned her a Golden Globe nomination.

Dunst has appeared in a variety of films demonstrating her versatility. She will star in Marie Antoinette (2006) and Elizabethtown (2005). The Los Angeles resident's comedies include Bring It On, Dick, and Wag the Dog. Her more dramatic films include The Cat's Meow and Crazy/Beautiful. Dunst plays the lead role in Kaena: The Prophecy, scheduled for 2002. She will star along side Billy Bob Thorton and Morgan Freeman in Levity, set for release in 2003.

Dunst will return as Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man® 3, along with Tobey Maguire in the leading role. What will happen between MJ and Peter in Part 3? We won't find out until 2007, but it should be interesting.
